Today March 22, 2011 met 13 years 3 months who were slaughtered our brethren martyrs in Acteal. Us and we are gathered here again to celebrate once more the brothers and sisters to ask for the strength of our Lord Jesus Christ, that we continue to illuminate our path as long and tireless what we are looking for.

In these days, on March 24 marks the 31st anniversary of the martyrdom of Archbishop Oscar Romero, Bishop of the brotherly people of El Salvador, killed by the powerful to denounce violence against the poor government of their country. In these days a member of the Board of Bees is in El Salvador, as in other years have been several members of our organization, it is necessary to unite our voices as people who denounce injustice and seek peace, for the blood of our martyrs is crying out to heaven in all this land in Latin America that their people were massacred because the powerful want to appropriate their wealth and natural resources.

Strengthened by the blood of our martyrs, the organization Civil Society Acteal Bee never discouraged to commemorate our fathers and mothers demanding justice for our loved ones slaughtered. This was happened in the year 1997 but do not forget this cruel fact committed by the paramilitaries were organized by Mexico's President Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de Leon and Chiapas Governor Julio Cesar Ruiz Ferro and the Area Commander Military in Chiapas, Mario Renan Castillo. All that was following a counterinsurgency plan that they learned in military schools in the U.S. and now their vicious dogs that were trained have left the army and continue massacring innocent but now as the group of Zetas.

In places like Ciudad Juárez and the state of Sinaloa, was killed entire families, burn their houses, threatening the survivors and the government does nothing. The government says are drug dealers but we see that when you kill a U.S. agent in a week and have the alleged perpetrators. But when ordinary people are killed when a woman killed in mere gates of the presidential palace, where entire families are destroyed then the government does nothing.

also says the government that those who die are criminals or people who was passing by accident when they were the shootings, but we see that many have died to defend life against the projects of death and destruction. We see that in Chiapas and in Mexico there by killing innocent people is peace, there is persecution for the leaders of different organizations, jailing those who seek justice, peace and dignity to the world.

With these facts we see that the government is afraid the people and wants to silence his voice. Whoever is killed defending the life, instead of those who kill, those who organize wars and those who are criminals are free and released as soon as the perpetrators and masterminds of the slaughter of Acteal. This is a destruction to humanity that exists in our state and our country. The perpetrators of these acts and violations of human rights are the rulers who can not administer justice that is thirsty and hungry people.

As an example of those who are persecuted for defending life is for the comrades Adherents to the Other Campaign in San Sebastian Bach'ajon who suffer repression, harassment , criminalization of their struggles and unjust imprisonment as result of the defense of Mother Earth , is a clear example of the counterinsurgency strategy, such as the government is acting as a form retains, exercising and using the same, with the clear objective for the control of territory and domination of peoples and communities in resistance.
Today we also report some facts that have occurred in our town just two days ago:
1) On March 20, at about 1 pm, Manuel Pérez guzman, representative of the organization of civil society of the Bees Village Community Quextic was harassed and beaten by 6 items the State Police in the county seat of Pantelho, along with two of his brothers who accompanied him. The police accused him of selling drugs and tried to force up his truck. Manuel had told them not to hit him that if he wanted to accompany himself into the truck could peacefully. It seems that this non-violent response calmed down and police withdrew from the place. The number of the patrol was 2P 377. We think it is not just what they are doing, there is no right to mistreat and just people. In case there is no way to resolve problems with respect to the law and people. MARCH 8 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Sisters and Brothers who are gathered today in the ceremonial of the martyrs Acteal. know that March 8 is a very important day to remember that there must be respect for women. Adult women and adolescents.

We know that women have suffered too many years, for example in New York in 1857 a group of seamstresses took a textile factory where they worked, to demand equal pay and fair schedule, but say the pattern is not quite like it and set fire there killed 146 factory seamstresses and others were injured.

Yet suffering is not over, so this day we remember the struggle of women to change their lives. Here in Mexico the government has no respect for women but not only the government but also the men who mistreat us and not give us permission to walk out of our house to go to meetings. So this day is very important to reflect on the rights of women.
